The Margaret River region is located approximately 280km south of Perth in the south-west corner of Australia. It is one of Australia’s most prestigious wine growing regions; the warm, dry climate with cool ocean breezes provides a long ripening period that is particularly suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. The Margaret River and relative isolation help to keep the region clean and pristine. It is a vast region with varied topography and soil types, ensuring that no two vineyards are alike. The first commercial vineyard in Margaret River was planted in the mid-1960s and the region now has over 200 vineyards.

Grapes and fruit are selected in Wilyabrup in the heart of the Margaret wine region. The fruit is crushed and fermented in a closed cellar. The wine is aged for 18 months in steel tanks and oak barrels.
